Type: Irish Bar

Hours: Mon.: 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. Tues.-Thur.: 11 a.m. - Midnight Fri.-Sat.: 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. Sun.: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.

This dark-wooded pub is where beer-battered fish and chips come to jig with salt and vinegar in the 'burbs. Located on Maple Grove's Main street, this cave-like pub takes ye back to Ireland with stone fireplaces, private booths and pushed ales. There is often a bloke in the corner trying to make a buck with his guitar. Bring a date, your mates or your folks—seems like the kind of place to make merry with all.  Try anything in a pint or a shot glass because they're a generous 20 and 1.5 ozs. respectively.

What does a "Reservation" mean? I would think when you arrive, there is seating for your party. This was not the case when we arrived. Made a reservation, spoke to the manager, requested the private room for our special birthday party. Confirmed the reservation. When we arrived, the hostess was distressed. She was also very rude. They did not have seating available for our party. We waited & waited & inquired several times why we were not being seated. Asked for the manager after 40 minutes of waiting. He was a no show. We were seated in the back, not what we expected. Poor service & very poor Customer Service. They did not "create an exceptional experience" other than to be very annoyed. There was no apology for the wait, no comp of any kind. Food was ok, not great. Very greasy. We could have chosen about a hundred other resturants & we should have. Very bad service. Would not recommend going there until they up their standards for good Customer Service. At least the cig stand on the patio could be emptied & plates removed from the table when you are done eating. Not impressed at all with our experience. Thumbs down to the management & staff. Will not be recommending Claddagh or going there again. Left a bad taste. Service poor.

We've been hitting up the Claddagh for years now and it's a great place. In the summer sit outside on the patio by the fire if the weather permits. Fish and chips is their signature dish but there are many other options on the menu that are very good. This restaurant gets very busy at dinner time, if you want to beat the crowd try going for lunch or a mid afternoon dinner. Live irish music on the weekends is really fun as well.
