Lyndale Tap House
Type: Restaurant
Hours: 4pm-2am weekdays, 11am-2am weekends
A new gastropub in Uptown Minneapolis featuring a long list of tap beers, chef-driven bar food and affordable price-points, the Lyndale Tap House takes bar food to the next level. Baltimore pit beef is the centerpiece of the menu, a top-round cut of beef, dry rubbed and grilled; many of the restaurants entrees and sandwiches feature the beef.
The beer, which from the name of the place might be considered their "thing," isn't special enough to overshadow the food.
User Reviews
What is pit beef you ask? A delicious cut of angus beef that is rubbed with tasty spices and marinated for 3 days. It’s a regular item in Baltimore, however new to Mpls. Their sandwiches are served on a large soft bun with meat overflowing from every angle. Their horseradish could be a bit more course; it’s a bit on the weenie side. The fries and homemade pretzel sticks are great too! Good selection on tap; Crispin Cider and Finnegans are my favorites. Strongly encourage you to visit this independently owned, centrally located restaurant.
